Located within driving distance of several East Kootenay communities, Bull River Guest Ranch offers easy access to nearby towns for dining, shopping, and supplies. Each town provides a different experience, from full-service amenities to small local stops.
Jaffray (30-45min)Located closest to the ranch, Jaffray is a small, convenient stop for basic essentials, fuel, and quick supplies. It’s ideal for last-minute needs without traveling further into larger towns.

Elko (30min)A quiet rural community known for its proximity to outdoor recreation areas, including Silver Springs. While limited in services, it’s a useful stop when exploring nearby swimming and day-use areas such as Kikomun Creek Provincial Park, Lake Koocanusa, along with other local fishing & hiking locations.
